It’s finally springtime and I am opening preorders for prints of “Breakfast of Champions (Timbits and Krupnik).”

Print preorders are 15% off of their normal price! I don’t do very many sales, so this is a great time to take advantage of a great deal!

Preorders close one month from now, May 25! So don’t wait too long!

Each fine art print comes on premium archival cotton paper. You also have the option to have the artist (me) sign your piece with archival ink, which is not usually available with a normal print order!

I am offering two sizes, starting with a smaller 5.5x7 inch option with a quarter inch border. This option is great for collectors on a budget or those looking to complete a gallery wall.

The larger, 11x14 inch option is true-to-size to the original painting and also features an additional quarter inch border.

Prints will go into production immediately after the end of the preorder period and be sent to post!

About the original oil painting:

“Breakfast of Champions (Timbits and Krupnik)” is part of my ‘Habituate’ series that I started last year and had on exhibit June of 2024. The series is inspired by all of the unique foods that I had only first encountered since moving to Buffalo in 2020. Other foods depicted in the series include pizza logs, Labatt Blue beer, and pickle pizza.

I waited to do a print series for this piece, since it is a little larger and thus a little more costly than the others to get a great scan of. (All of my prints are produced after getting some of the best image capture available in the industry, because I really want to make sure my customers are getting the best of the best.)

That doesn’t mean that this painting isn’t important to me! It invokes special memories of my first time trying Krupnik at the Elmwood Farmer’s market, late nights enjoying Krupnik shots at The Merry Shelley, and delicious, boozy breakfasts on Dyngus Day (a uniquely Buffalo experience, imo).
